I just wanted to thank Wendy and Ryan, and of course the morning show for giving me the opportunity to meet my kids half sibling. I live in NJ, and the match lives in Ohio. It was a dream come true for us, and I am forever thankful to you. I now have a new extended forever family.

I, too, was a bit disappointed by ABC. It seemed like women were just "shopping" for genetic ingredients when it is so much more than that.
I am one who is single by chance, and a mother by choice.
I am starting to struggle with setting up a healthy paradigm for me and my son about him being a child created by choice through donor insemination.
Are there any great children's books out there? Are articles you can suggest?

I am in continual contact with several of my son's donor sibling families. I hope to meet them all one day. And I do hope to meet the donor one day as well.

I am so glad I am not the only one with issues about the Primetime piece. I am greatful you are voicing your opinions and points Wendy. It is ridiculous that this sensative and intimate issue has to be treated like another "hot" story. Showing that donor as a model and then down and out, that is sensationalism, that's not the norm.
