These numbers are the same as those at GIVF (Genetics and IVF). Sperm donors should be listed here, egg donors at GIVF. Fairfax supplies sperm to Can Am Cryo (Canada). They link to CLI on their website (and CLI links to Fairfax on their website), but they have their own donor numbers. They bought out a bunch of smaller sperm banks, including CLI, in 2002, but some of those banks are still operating in separate buildings and kept their old name. The donors are still separate from Fairfax numbers, so they don't have to be crossposted to the Fairfax list (but may need to be posted to another list--see the specific facility to see if something is mentioned in the heading).

I donated in the very late 80's and again in the early-mid '90's, stopping somewhere around early '96 probably.
I have no brothers and sisters. My parents were alive and fine then (as they are now). My grandparents on my mother’s side, and my grandmother on my father’s side had passed away when I was donating. My paternal grandfather I am not totally sure of what I put as my father was not talking to him at the time.
I worked as a sound engineer and later as a computer technician, which might be on my forms (though my degree is in Psychology). As for hobbies I put down, probably bowling, travel, music, riding a motorcycle possibly.
I am baptized Catholic, though I am more agnostic. Not sure what I put in the forms. Have allergy to penicillin and sulfur. Broke my left arm twice and had a hernia operation as an infant (not sure if all these things were on the forms)
Will try to add more as I can think of anything, and try to get my blood type!
I recently received some donor sheets, which lists all the donors and their numbers. I am 99% sure I am donor #47. |
