As my twins (a girl and boy get older, they are nine now (April 2018), they are increasingly asking about their biological mom---you would be 35ish by now, and their father (who I know but who doesn't want to be identified). I have Stage IVa cancer and am the kiddos' only parent, so connecting with you, as the future of our happy family may be shortened, is more important than ever. Not for anything but their knowledge of family, of their heritage, of your background, of why you chose to be a donor. And, as well, to meet any other families benefiting from your incredible generosity. You gave me my life-long lottery winning, my two children. I couldn't love them more. They are beautiful and bright, inside and out. My daughter loves to sing, is in high-ability classes, and loves to be loved and share love. She is also a cautious adventurer, mastering downhill skiing and having recently ridden her first roller coaster (she loved it!). My son is athletic, excels in hockey, and wants to be a Navy Seal. He is our family's peace-keeper, a sweet soul inside a tough, no-nonsense body. He is an outrageous adventurer, mastering Double-Black-Diamond (moguls included) downhill skiing. He will be our Mount Everest climber, our entrepreneur.
